What is SSE & how I work

Somatic Sex Education
& Sexological Bodywork

Somatic sex education and Sexological Bodywork is an experiential, body-based education about embodiment, pelvic health, sex, and intimacy. Sessions may include coaching, somatic practices, bodywork and touch, and suggestions for home practices.

I use a variety of modalities including Reiki, breath-work, boundary setting and consent exercises. I also use trauma-informed touch for scar remediation work and anatomy mapping for sensitivity and pleasure. Both of these modalities may turn into Dearmouring sessions if/when the client would like to do deeper healing work.

Some reasons to work with a Somatic Sex Educator:

  • Explore consent, boundaries and communication in intimate relationships

  • Scar tissue work

*Somatic sex education is not a sexual service and practitioners do not act as surrogate partners. We remain clothed and the touching in our sessions (when and if this happens) is one-directional from practitioner to client. Students who want to learn interpersonal skills are welcome to bring their partners.

About Jaiden

All of my life, I have had a fascination with the human body, sexuality, and sex. And, since I was raised Catholic and lived in a small, white, farming community, sex was NOT something you talked about! To say the least, I grew up with a few issues around intimacy, boundaries, consent, etc. I would always talk about sex with friends…I would talk about the sex THEY were having, not my own. Gradually I was the person they were all coming to to talk about their bedroom “issues”. So, I got my Master’s in Counseling and thought I would help people that way. My experience with this type of somatic work is SO much more helpful than just talking, in my opinion.

So, here I am…
A trauma-informed trans guy who has training in Somatic Sex Education and Sexological bodywork. I am also a Reiki Master-Teacher, which gets woven into all of the work I do. As a healer, educator, and coach, I am adept at creating and holding a safe space for others to explore, learn, and do the inner work necessary for the growth they are seeking.

I work with anyone wanting to increase somatic (body) awareness, healing, and pleasure in their body…leading to living a more liberated life. I am especially committed to serving the LGBTQIA+ community with a focus on the Trans population.

Make a Difference
My commitment is to create and hold a safe enough container that inspires all of us to “show up” (in my personal and professional life). Show up and be radically vulnerable and authentic with ourselves and others. The introspection and somatic presence to become more aligned with ourselves is where it all begins. From a place of somatic presence, each of us will be able to explore with courage & curiosity where we may be limited from being able to live a full life.

Inner Wisdom
Each of us has our own guiding principles. I am not the expert with all of the answers. Rather, I create and hold a safe enough space to guide and inspire each person to tap into their own inner wisdom so they can take more steps towards living their Truth…with more pleasure.

Love
This value is a reminder to be gentle with ourselves and others by coming from a place of love vs coming from a place of our conditioning and/or trauma. Embracing our challenges and limiting beliefs with Love and compassion creates an opening for change and/or acceptance.

Liberation
My ultimate hope is for each person to have the courageous presence to do their personal work, moving closer to their own liberation to have a positive effect on the collective liberation of the Earth/world.
